Since 1995, we’ve worked in partnership with scaffolding contractors, main contractors, architects and consulting engineers to produce market-leading working drawings for scaffold and temporary works structures of every scale and complexity. We work across the UK and internationally, with recent projects delivered in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad & Tobago and Australia.
Every drawing we issue is backed by full structural calculations and designed in accordance with current codes of practice, including TG20:21, BS EN 12811-1, and, where falsework or temporary works procedures are involved, BS 5975. This means your scaffold contractor and principal contractor both have documented assurance that the structure has been engineered — not just assembled to a rule of thumb.
Depending on the complexity of the structure, our working drawings and calculation packages typically include:
You’ll be allocated a dedicated, fully qualified design engineer who works with you from initial enquiry through to completion. Your engineer can attend site visits and project meetings on your behalf, so you can draw on our experience exactly when you need it — not just at the drawing-board stage.
We’ll agree your deadlines up front and advise honestly on the time required to produce a finished, fully checked set of drawings that suits your project programme — no rushed, unchecked designs.
How long does a typical scaffold design take? Turnaround depends on complexity, but straightforward tube & fitting or system scaffold designs are typically issued within 5 working days, with more complex or bespoke structures agreed on a case-by-case basis at enquiry stage.
Do you design for both tube & fitting and system scaffolds? Yes — we design in tube & fitting and all major system scaffold ranges, including Cuplok, Kwikstage, Layher Allround and Haki.
Can you work from our existing scaffold stock? Yes. We regularly design around a contractor’s available stock holding to keep hire costs down, rather than defaulting to a generic specification.
Do your drawings come with calculations? Every working drawing we issue is backed by full supporting calculations, so the design can be independently checked or presented to a principal contractor’s temporary works coordinator without delay.
Working drawings are issued in both electronic (PDF/DWG) and printed format for your use. Where it would help — for client presentations, complex geometries, or tricky access arrangements — we can also produce 3D drawings and renders for additional clarity.
