Bill Ferguson

Managing Director

Bill founded the business in 1995 and has 40 plus years combined scaffold design and civil engineering experience and remains an active part in its ongoing success. He has worked on numerous designs in his wide and varied career including; offshore platforms, railways, historic buildings and many commercial construction projects. He has also been called upon as an expert witness on scaffold collapse and failures including close liaison with investigating HSE inspectors.

Grant Keys

Technical Director

Grant is responsible for internal checking / approving designs, site inspections, projects, staff and client management. Grant has over 20 years design experience, is a chartered engineer, CEng, MICE and his experience covers projects ranging from nuclear power station decommissioning to Network Rail design checks. Grant also holds the relevant access and security clearance for sites such as; INEOS/BP Oil refinery Grangemouth, St Fergus Natural Gas plant, Rosyth Naval Dockyard and Sellafield Nuclear Power Station where he performed the T.W.C role for Doosan on a 2-year major scaffold project.

Gary Ferguson

Technical Director

Gary has over 14 years work experience in a variety of roles at Scaftec Ltd. Gary is a M.Eng university graduate and is working towards his chartered engineer status, Gary manages a number of key accounts in the business working closely with clients; attending site visits preparing detailed drawings and undertaking scaffold inspections to ensure compliance with design drawings. Gary is fully certified for offshore visits.
